My Sister's Keeper
A FILM BY SARIT ASNAPI
Four Jewish Orthodox women who dared to shout loudly "Don't be silent!".
Through the revolution they are leading, we enter the rooms of a closed society with a clear code of silence regarding sexuality in general and sexual abuse in particular. The background for the organization is the wave of sexual abuse that is sweeping the sector and especially around the Yehuda Meshi Zahav and Chaim Walder affairs - one of the senior members of the community. The world of each of the heroines of the film is greatly shaken by these events, whether she has experienced a similar injury herself or whether she has met women who have been harmed from the close circle. The fact that most of them are mothers only strengthens the feeling of the urge to do something for future generations.
